Honeybee 963, a dedicated sitting drop systems that fills reservoirs as well as shelves

Honeybee 963 enables walk-away automation, with precise dispensing into both reservoirs (100 micro-liters) as well as shelves (as low as 100 nano-liters) using a single system. Three independent channels for protein addition utilize proven patented non-contact synQuad dispensing technology enabling 3 different experiments to be set up automatically in each well of a crystallization plate. ‘On the fly’ synQuad dispensing completes addition of each protein to a crystallization plate in less than 20 seconds.
New software allows the user to easily set up multiple sitting drop crystallization experiments with ‘click and play’ functionality. The instrument is compatible with all commercially available plate formats and the software allows simple set up of screens into the user’s choice of plates.
