The SE 660 routinely produces gels with sharp, well-defined bands. None of the "smiling" that makes side-by-side comparison difficult.
The SE 660 Standard unit runs two 18 x 24 cm gels. To run a shorter gel, you simply substitute the appropriate glass plates.
Accommodates denaturing and native polyacrylamide gels, agarose gels, 2-D electrophoresis and field inversion electrophoresis.
Runs gels at unmatched temperature uniformity from 1° to 45° C.
Runs single or multiple gels at one time—two gels in the basic unit, four gels using accessory divider plates—under absolutely identical conditions.
Offers a variety of gel configurations with an array of accessory combs and spacers.
