The Hoefer SE 260 combines the advantages of small format and efficient cooling for rapid screening of protein and nucleic acids.

The SE 260 is the same compact design as the SE 250. It runs 10 x 10.5 cm gels. The additional 2.5 cm length gives more than 25% extra distance to resolve complex samples. You can use a variety of 8- and 10-cm long pre-cast gels.

• Mighty Small Combs create up to 15 sample lanes per gel. Run two gels for as many as 30 sample lanes at a time.
• Ideal for a variety of techniques: acrylamide (uniform and gradient), agarose, IEF, field inversion agarose and two-dimensional electrophoresis.
• Efficient cooling uses alumina plates to ensure flat, side-side gels. No smiling.
• Assembly is quick and easy with T-shaped spacers. Special clamps hold sandwiches with just the right pressure.
• Buffer requirements are minimal—75 ml for each upper buffer chamber and 150 ml for the common lower buffer chamber.
• Safety lid interlocks prevent accidental buffer contact.
