Can transfer four 15 x 21 cm gels at once or up to sixteen 7 x 10 cm mini-gels.
Electrodes are secured to a glass-filled polycarbonate grid which protects the attached platinum wire from accidental breakage.
The cooling module, built directly into the base of the transfer chamber, is a serpentine channel covered by alumina, a highly conductive material which promotes efficient transfer. When coolant is pumped through the channel, heat is transferred from
buffer to coolant. Simply set the unit on a magnetic stirrer to circulate buffer throughout the chamber.
