The cooling module, built directly into the base of the transfer chamber, is a serpentine channel covered by alumina, a highly conductive material which promotes efficient transfer. When coolant is pumped through the channel, heat is transferred from buffer to coolant. Simply set the unit on a magnetic stirrer to circulate buffer throughout the chamber.
