Uses electrophoresis to transfer proteins and nucleic acids from polyacrylamide or agarose gels onto nitrocellulose, derivatized papers or nylon membranes.
Transfers four 15 x 21 cm gels at once without cooling. No need to add optional Heat Exchanger.
Transfers two 15 x 21 cm gels at once by adding the optional TE 47 Heat Exchanger to control buffer temperature during transfer. You can also use Hoefer’s SE 600 Heat Exchanger.
Performs high intensity protein transfers in one hour.
Complete and even transfers. Easy to load cassettes hold gels without squeezing. No gel distortion.
Seven closely spaced vertical platinum wires on each electrode panel provide a uniform electrical field to ensure the most efficient transfer.
Comes with an acrylic lid and cables to connect to a power supply. We recommend the Hoefer PS 2A 200 Power Supply.
